The West Africa Country of Ghana gained independence from British Colonial rule in March 1957 and have since celebrated this day. The Ghana Independence Celebration is one of the most important event in the Ghanaian calendar that brings to together all Ghanaians around the world. Ghanaians celebrate this day by showcasing their collective culture and traditions through music, dancing, food and storytelling.
This year, the Ghana Association of Victoria would like to invite you to celebrate this special occasion which marks 61st Independence Day.
The evening will be a fantastic event featuring an array of outstanding professional cultural and contemporary artist including our own finest Ghanaian International artists in Australia, DJs playing highlife music to dance, and delicious Ghanaian food.
